Beer Blast app for iPhone and iPad

Tired of sitting around doing the same thing every Saturday night? You’ve searched the app store many times looking for a party game. A real party game that’s easy to understand, that everyone can play, and is actually fun. 1080 Media would like to introduce BEER BLAST.

This party app combines a few basic rules, 52cards that keep the party moving, and an in-app camera that records the nights activities. Simply sit in a circle around the room with a beverage of choice in front of you. Launch the app and shake it. A new card will be displayed every time you shake the app. Just do what the card says, and when your done, pass it to the next person. It’s that easy. Drink Two, Give One Away, Chug, Give Someone A Wedgie, Enter Skid Row and dozens more! Want more fun… Take photos right within the game and instantly upload them to the Beer Blast Website. Click on the camera icon any time during the game, launch the camera on the device your playing on, and snap away! Share your fun with the entire BEER BLAST world! Then, hop on over to beerblastapp.com and check out all of the fun in the photo gallery.

Hold on, there’s more! We need to keep it fresh, so we have added the ability to suggest new card ideas on the website and within the app. Upload as many as you like. We will read each and every one, and give them all serious consideration. Every few months, we will add the best ones, and include the name of the person that submitted the idea, making them a part of the game forever! New cards will arrive when the free upgrades are available in the app store.

Everyone here at 1080 Media had a BLAST making this game for you. Of course we want everyone to be responsible, look out for your friends, know when to say when, and have a BLAST!

The game is simple. Beer Blast can be played with any number of players. Sit in a circle/room and have a drink in front of you. (Although Beer Blast features the words Beer along with Beer visuals, any drink of choice can be used including non-alcoholic drinks.)

Shake the app and a Beer Blast card will appear. Read the card and do what it says. If you don’t know what the card means, click on the info button on the bottom right of the screen, where the instructions for that the current card resides.

The game refers to drinking in numbers. If we say “Drink Two” that does not mean drink two full drinks. It means take two sips from the drink of your choice. “Chug” means to finish the drink in front of you, no matter how full it is. You do NOT have to get a full drink to chug. When your drink is gone, get another, but not before asking for permission from another player. If you forget… drink one!

Also, throughout the entire game, there will be no swearing or pointing. If you do one of these two things, it will be up to any of the other players to catch you. If they do, you much drink one. This will happen way more than you think. Keep a watch out!

You will notice a camera icon at the top right of the screen. When selected, the app will take a snapshot and save it to the cameras photo gallery. The app will also ask you if you want to send the photo to the Beer Blast Website for others to see. Please get permission from everyone in the photo before you do that. We will be incredibly happy to receive these fun pictures and encourage you to do so, but if someone gets pissed about it, it’s on you!

We will be adding new cards all the time. We will add a minimum of six new cards each year submitted from Beer Blast Users. If you have a great idea, submit it on the website. If we decide to use it, your name will appear at the bottom of the card, giving you credit!
